We promote a health and safety culture at all of our locations and Skilya is dedicated to preserving the health and safety of our employees as well as those who live and work around our projects. To accomplish so, we maintain strong health, safety, and environmental management system that are reviewed for continuous improvement in compliance with OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 9001 standards.
we promote a health and safety and culture at all of our locations and think that it is everyone’s responsibility, from senior management to site employees, to try to eliminate workplace accidents.
Our HSE practices are explained in detail as follows:
* Ongoing training for all workers and subcontractors to ensure they can carry out their work safely is one of our HSE practices. • All employees are vigilant in monitoring and reporting any new hazards so that accidents can be avoided.
* Senior management visits project sites frequently to engage with workers on HSE and welfare needs, ensuring that resources are available to effectively implement the Health and Safety Policy.
* We use a risk-based approach in the planning and operation of our projects, looking for ways to prevent pollution by eliminating accidents, injuries,
and illnesses, reducing energy use, and minimizing material waste.
Environment and sustainability
We understand the value of the natural environment and the importance of the ecosystem’s long-term viability.
We follow all environmental and sustainability legislation to the letter, and we work together with all levels of government, regulatory agencies, and our clients to ensure that sustainability and environmental criteria are met early in the development of each of our projects.
We are committed to reducing pollution and the negative effects of our operations on the natural, physical, and cultural environments. We also promote the optimal use of natural resources and reduce waste through waste minimization
measures.
